Chief constructs roads

Amasaman (G/A) Aug. 26 GNA - Nii Commey Abbey chief of Gbawe Gonsee near Amasaman in the Greater Accra Region is constructing a four-kilometre road from Gbawe to link Gbawe Gonsee and other five communities at the cost of about 120 million cedis.

The communities to benefit from the road network includes Gbawe-Gonsee, Manhea, Ojoma, Nsakina and Oduma.

Conducting the Ghana News Agency round to inspect the project on Monday, Nii Commey Abbey, who is also the former assemblyman for Gbawe and Mallam electoral area said the project is his personal contribution towards the development of the area.

Mr. Ofori Kwarteng, Assemblyman for the area commended Nii Commey Abbey for his contribution towards the project and called on other chiefs in the area to emulate him

Mr. Kwarteng later appealed to the Amasaman District Assembly and the Department of Feeder Roads to come to assist for the project to be completed on schedule.
