BGL spends 38,500 dollars at Kwame Niampah

Bogoso(W/R), Feb. 23, GNA - The management of Bogoso Gold Limited (BGL) has spent about 38,500 dollars on two projects at Kwame Niampa, a farming community within its catchment area.

The projects are a 10-seater aqua privy place of convenience and a two-unit classroom block for their Early Childhood Development Centre. Nana Richard Hagan, Manager, Community Affairs and Sustainable Development, of the company disclosed this when he inspected the on-going project at Kwame Niampah.

He said the projects were awarded on contract to local contractors to create job opportunities for the people.

Nana Hagan said children were sent to farm with their parents therefore, the centre was built for the community and the place of convenience would help improve sanitation.
