Aviance staff get award for dedicated service

Accra, May 6, GNA - Fourteen Senior Staff and 64 unionised workers of Aviance Ghana Limited, a clearance and export company, have been presented with various items and certificates of appreciation for their dedicated and meritorious service to the company during last year. The ceremony, the sixth in a series was to motivate the workers to continue to work hard to transform and facilitate the export and clearance of goods at the Cargo Village of the Kotoka International Airport.

The presentations were made on behalf of management by Mr. Paul Craig, Business Development Manager, Mr. Abed Botchwey, Director of Finance and the Security Co-ordinator Alex Yeboah, among others. The Best Worker Award for the Human Resource Department went to Emmanuel Mantey with the Best Gargo Office award going to Fred Buama Dapaah.

Mr Adjei Dennis received the best worker prize, Import House. Mr Paul Craig asked the workers to continue to work hard to consolidate the gains of Aviance as the number one ramp and cargo handler in West Africa.

He assured the workers of management's preparedness to invest in their professional development and quality of its staff through re-training and incentive privileges for them to deliver. Mr Craig asked the workers to think of what to do to move Aviance Ghana Limited forward. This, he hoped, would ensure the realisation of the companies corporate objectives.

Mr. Thomas Ntiamoah, the Human Resource Manager asked the workers to appreciate the recognition of management and work harder to achieve more laurels for themselves and the company. 06 May 06
