Atwima district NFED trains 2,560 adult learners

Nkawie (Ash), Nov 12, GNA- The Atwima District office of the Non-Formal Education Division (NFED) of the Ministry of Education has trained about 2,560 adult learners to read and write.

Mr Joseph Adu-Gyamfi, the Atwima District Co-ordinator of the NFED, told the GNA that more adult learners would be trained. He said due to the commitment and dedication of the 105

facilitators in the district his outfit would recruit additional 54 facilitators by the end of the year to train more adult learners. Mr Adu-Gyamfi advised the facilitators to be patient with the learners and warned them against diverting logistics meant for the programme.

He also cautioned them against politicising the programme since he said that would jeopardise the good intentions of the programme.
