Two thousand, four hundred and twenty young men and women seeking to join the Ghana Police Service in the Brong-Ahafo Region turned up for a three-day physical screening exercise in Sunyani.

This was carried out at the Coronation Park by a Police Enlistment Team from Accra.

On hand to make sure everything went well was Commissioner of Police (COP) David Asante-Apeatu, Director-General in-charge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Marine Police.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Christopher Tawiah, the Regional Police Public Relations Officer, said the prospective applicants were checked for height and had their birth and school certificates scrutinized.
