Why teachers must vote NDC out

The insensitivity of the John Dramani Mahama led National Democratic Congress (NDC) government towards teachers in Ghana is sad and very unfortunate.

Let’s start from students who will eventually come out as teachers.
It was out of their little allowance they earned that they use to feed on as students under training and this same allowance was used in buying handouts and other petty things that will aid their education.
But this was scraped off without looking at the ripple effects on parents and the students at large. Then came another mind boggling policy which am yet to hear the voices of various stake holders in the country on it; the dismissal of students after failing on a second attempt on a referred paper. This is outrageous, to say the least.

So which leaders made this wrong decision?

If Professor Allotey had to re-write for seven times on a paper why should students be subjected to this insensitivity, or is it another attempt by government to reduce the number of teachers coming out because they cannot be paid? There must be some explanation and answering to these questions.

What is being wished for the thousands of students who are being sacked across the country? Armed robbery, hooliganism or what? The entire training college fraternity is being called upon to stand up against this insensitivity!

The question is what will be next from the NDC government? That we don’t know. So let’s rise up to straighten our future.

#Operation abolish this insensitivity policy

The Coalition to Elect Nana Addo & Bawumia (CENAB) – Ashanti Region and some student bodies have launched a Red Friday and Wednesday. This calls for all students to use red shirt or band on Fridays and Wednesdays until this bad policy is abolished.

All Professions can boast but the teacher taught them all.
