New Crystal Hospital launches New Generation Wellness Campaign

New Crystal Hospital a leading private healthcare service provider in the country with accreditation from HEFRA and ISO 45001, 27001 and 9001 certified providing high quality and affordable healthcare solution to its valued clients across its eight networked branches in Ashaiman, Adjei-Kojo, Tema, Michel Camp and Takoradi has launched a flagship corporate social responsibility campaign dubbed “New Generation Wellness Campaign.”

The campaign which was launched in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service – Ashaiman Municipal Directorate at the Ashaiman government cluster of schools on 20th March 2024 was to champion easy access to high-quality and affordable healthcare for students within the Municipality.

According to Gidel Kwasi Fiavor the Head of Marketing and Business Development of New Crystal Hospital who delivered a speech on behalf of the CEO – Dr Wisdom Amegbletor, this campaign is aimed at promoting access to affordable and high-quality healthcare among students within the Ashaiman Municipality by paying the registration and renewal fees for over 6000 students unto the National Health Insurance Scheme.

Mr. Fiavor also mentioned that New Crystal Hospital as part of the campaign will undertake free health screening (eye and ear) for the students and further undertake a first-aid training sessions for selected teachers from each school within the municipality and donate well-resourced first-aid kits to each school to help equip teachers with the basic skills to provide elementary healthcare at the schools when the need be.

In his address, Mr. Clifford Budu the Director of Education within the Ashaiman Municipality, says this corporate social responsibility has come at the right time and will be beneficial to the students as the bearing of the NHIS card is a registration requirement into the various senior high schools and will also help the cost of accessing healthcare for the students and their guardians.

According to Mrs. Evelyn Kumah the Headmistress of No.3 JHS, the health situation at the schools has been challenging as students often fall sick and must be rushed to the hospital therefore this initiative from New Crystal Hospital will help enhance the well-being of all students in the municipality.
This New Generation Campaign will be carried out throughout the year unto all students are covered under the program.
