Chellee Walker of District Bridges talks 2024 Africa on the Avenue

Chellee Walker is the Lower Georgia Avenue Main Street Manager here in the Washington DC Metro area of the United States. Being a Main Street manager gives her the opportunity to connect small businesses to resources that help them continue to thrive.

Small businesses have a special place in her heart because since moving to the Washington Metro area she has only worked for and supported them. Chellee is super excited to be a part of the Africa on the Avenue program this year because so much of the Georgia Avenue community is rooted around the African community.

She joined Oral Ofori on episode 91 of #TheAfricanDream show in March 2024 to talk more about why she finds it exciting to connect the community to many different African countries and their unique cultural backgrounds. Watch the full video interview below:
