NDC anthem a must-sing at vetting

Aside answering questions on contributions made towards the vibrancy of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a party, aspirants would be required to sing the anthem of the party during vetting, TV3 gathers.

The NDC anthem composed by highlife musician Jewel Ackah is considered one of the symbols of unity of the party.

It caps the party’s constitution adopted on September 19, 1992.

Aspirants for the Women’s Organiser and Youth Organiser positions, TV3 gathers, were made to sing the anthem on the first day of vetting, which took place at the party's headquarters in Kokomlemle, Accra.

The vetting continues till Wednesday, December 3, when aspirants to vice chairmen and the various deputies will be vetted.

In all, 104 candidates are expected to be vetted within the four-day period.
