PPP Effutu constituency elects new executives.

The Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Effutu Constituency on Saturday 21st December, 2013 organized constituency elections as part of the party’s preparation for the upcoming 2016 general elections. The election saw a massive attendance, delegates from all polling stations across Winneba. The election took place at the constituency party office at Victoria road in Winneba. Very prominent and influential people in the Effutu Constituency contested for the positions and they had free and fair elections.
The election started exactly 8am prompt and lasted for two and half hours. The newly elected executives are

3. 2nd Vice Chairman James Marshall Buah
4. Organizer Paapa Eshun
5. Assistant Organizer Joseph Nunoo
6. Secretary Charles Rasmond Afedzie
7. Assistant Secretary Emmanuel Nunoo
8. Youth Organizer Joseph Yartel Asibu
9. Assistant Youth organizer Nana Mbrah
10. Women Organizer Salomey Adjonteh
11. Assistant Women Organizer Beatrice Brimah
12. Education Kofi Otoo
13. Treasurer Elizabeth Baffoe
The elected executives received congratulatory message from their co-contestants and showed their support for the executives for 2016 general elections.
The chairman and his newly elected executives and the delegates gathered at 2012 parliamentary candidate’s (Nana Ofori Owusu) house to show their joy over a successful elections. Nana made it clear to the newly elected executives, the task ahead of them and the party that it is only with commitment, dedication, enthusiasm, cooperation, well-planned strategy, good and straightforward non-promising and insult free message and hard work that would take PPP to power.
He also added that the PPP national executives and the party are over warmed for willingness of candidates openly contesting for the positions and accepting full responsibility for the course of the party.
He further said that PPP is a party for the people and the people must claim it with joy to own it. Finally, he also added that each and every member, all party faithful must be ready for SOUL WINNING CAMPAIGN now and forever.
