Vote massively for president Mahama-Martin Luther appeals ? to Ashaiman residents

By Cletus Abaare

A staunch member the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashaiman Constituency, Mr. Emmanuel Max-Voy better known as Martin Luther King has called on residents of Ashaiman to vote massively for President John Mahama and the National democratic Congress come November 7.

The businessman cum politician who lost his bit to the lead the NDC in the Ashaiman constituency, noted that the track record of the President especially in the Ashaiman Municipality is overwhelming and therefore residents of the area should vote massively for the president.
The young politician and owner of Martin Luther King Jr schools, therefore, asked the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to prepare for another embarrassing defeat come the general the elections.

Mr Max-Voy in an interview with The Republic said the massive crowds cheering and mobbing of the president that have characterized the president's 'Accounting to the people tour' is evident that Ghanaians are ready to endorse the second term bit of the President.

According to him, the electorate bought into the promises in the 2012 electioneering campaign season and voted massively for the party, and the party will not relent in fulfilling these promises as part of its social contract with the people.

Mr Max-Voy, insisted that the President John Mahama's government, having fulfilled the several promises it made to the good people in the run-up to the 2012 Presidential elections, the good people of Ghana, would surely renew the mandate of the President in the 2016 election to continue with the monumental developments taking place across the country. This, he therefore tasked the residents of the Ashaiman constituency, which one of the NDC world banks to increase the votes massively come November.

He noted that the infrastructural projects and the social intervention programmes, including free sandals to school children, community day schools, LEAP among others, being undertaken by the government, is impacting positively on the lives of the citizenry.

"I have no doubts that going into the next elections based on the track record of the government of John Mahama. I know we will surely come out victorious, and we will trounce the NPP for the third time," he opined

According to him, even though, there is so much to show for the President's stewardship, the leadership of the party should not leave any stone unturned to ensure victory in the 2016 elections.

"We are winning the elections one touch, no machinations by the desperate New Patrotic Party (NPP) would enable them to win the elections", he noted.

He said the government had kept faith with the people as manifested in the development projects spread across the country, and expressed the hope that Ghanaians would reward the NDC by retaining it in power.

"Together we will do everything possible, physically, materially and spiritually to lead NDC into one touch victory in 2016," Mr Max-Voy appealed to his residents.
He said "What I have seen that almost three years after of our victory shows the NDC still remains the most united political party. Together with one voice let us declare that we will continue the agenda for transformation.
