Upper East NPP Communication Team tasked to speak on issues

Bolgatanga, Sept 27, GNA - Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communication Team in the Upper East Region have been advised to speak on development issues instead of engaging in personal attacks on the airwaves.

Mr. Rockson Ayine Bukari, a former Municipal Chief Executive, said this when the NPP launched the ”Young Elephants Club” in the Upper East at Bolgatanga.

He said there were lots of development projects that were executed by the NPP and this should be talked about to convince more people to join the party.

”The collapse of the Vea Irrigation Dam, the Meat Factory, the Pwalugu Tomato Factory and the bad road networks should be spoken of among other things”, he said.

He urged them to ignore the falsehood being peddled by the party’s opponents about Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, the NPP presidential candidate.

”The NDC knows that Ghanaians are discerning and will vote for the NPP presidential candidate,” Mr Bukari said.

He appealed to the Young Elephants to move to the grassroots to seek votes and preach unity and reconciliation and shun away from internal bickering

The Bolgatanga Constituency Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Atinga, expressed worry about failure on the part of party members to pay their membership dues and said this was undermining the activities of the party.
