Professor Delle launches campaign website

Saltpond, July 21, GNA - A Spokesperson of a volunteer group campaigning for Prof Edmund Delle's chairmanship of the Convention Peoples' Party (CPP) has said that the Party was at a crossroads and needed an experienced person to lead it.

Mr Fredrick Opoku said the CPP was virtually not on the ground due to the serious cracks it had developed and therefore it needed a unifier and an experienced chairman whose expertise would bring all members on board.

The spokesperson made these remarks at Saltpond when he launched Prof Delle's campaign website designed to enable people to have access his messages and biography online.

He said Ghanaians were looking up to the party to stand united and form a formidable opposition that would give hope to all in the next elections and called on the youth as well as party faithful to rally behind Prof Delle in his quest to unite the factions.

He said politics is about experience and so the CPP should choose someone who would help reclaim its position in the country. Mr Patrick Dasoberi, who designed the website, told newsmen that Prof Delle's intention was to campaign online in order to communicate easily with his supporters.
