’Predator’ chases NPP’s Titus Glover

Titus Glover (L) to meet Kempes Ofosuware for the second time in Nov. Titus Glover (L) to meet Kempes Ofosuware for the second time in Nov.

Indisputably, Tema East is a must watch constituency as the country goes to the polls hopefully in November.

The incumbent Member of Parliament, Daniel Nii Kweitei Titus-Glover entered parliament in 2013 with the slimmest margin you can imagine.

The New Patriotic Party MP beat the National Democratic Congress candidate Robert Papa Nii Kempes Ofosuware by just three (3) votes: 30,075 votes against 30,072 votes.

The constituency has been a swing seat, explaining why Titus might be sitting on tenterhooks going into this year’s election.

He is being given a close mark by former mayor of Tema, Kempes Ofosuware.

The two were Bright Nana Amfo’s guests on TV3’s +275 parliamentary debate on Thursday.

Even though they had a go at testing each other's pulse, they managed to restrain themselves from degenerating the battle of ideas into fisticuffs.

But one thing was clear, Titus is being pursued aggressively by a “predator”, Kempes disclosed, and warned him to watch out.

Nonetheless, Titus remains resolute and resilient as he justifies why he should be given the nod again in this year’s election.
