PPP wishes Ghanaians happy Easter

The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has wished Ghanaians a happy Easter and called for peaceful meditation and a show of love to one another.

It said the death and resurrection of Christ is the symbol of salvation which is observed by all Christians throughout the world and a reminder to all of the love Christ showed to mankind.

A press release signed by Nii Allotey Brew-Hammond, National Chairman of PPP and copied to the Ghana News Agency, wished all and sundry a memorable and safe Easter celebration adding that “may this year’s celebration bring unto the country all Progressives and the blessings of our mighty Father.”

The statement said “may the next Easter be celebrated under the administration that will implement the right agenda for change with a sense of urgency” and “calls on all to embrace its agenda for Change which is built on four pillars: Stewardship, Education, Healthcare, and Jobs.

“We will implement this agenda with a spirit of inclusiveness that will harness the fullest potential of all Ghanaians, full participation of women and youth and a leadership that will not allow itself to be corrupted,” the statement added. **
