PPP to hold convention in US

As part of its object to beef up support in the Diaspora, the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) intends to organise a convention for its members, supporters and well-wishers residing in the North American Region.

“We are planning to organise this Convention within the next two months but before we set a date and place for the Convention, we would like to know those who can attend. We will, therefore, appreciate your response and comments,” the party said in a statement.

The statement added that the party will elect executive members who will steer affairs of the PPP in the North American Region at the convention.

“The elected executives will be tasked, among other things, to recruit new members and solicit donations toward the 2016 General Elections in Ghana,” the statement added.
