Odododiodoo Reject Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye

I Mohammed HAMZA SHERIFF a concern citizen of Ododiodio constituency and an activist of the national democratic congress NDC wishes to call on all delegates in the constituency to reject Edwin Nii Lamptey Vanderpuje.
After a careful analysis of the political trend of the constituency could reveal that Nii lamptey is not the true choice of the people and any attempt to manipulate the system to favour him might cause a disaster for the party in the general election.

It is very obvious that he was the choice of the people in 2004 but he have abused his chance through greed, self-seeking and selfish interest. I further wish to add that it unfortunate that when the party won power in 2008 Lantey upon being appointed as Presidential Staff has alienated many members of the party by his conduct.

Wherever you go in the constituency people will tell you that a win for Nii Lantey is a loss of a Parliamentary seat to the NDC .As at now a lot of the NDC youth are defecting to NPP and the painful aspect of it is that within his electoral the NDC cell called Rashadiya branch have defected to the NPP enblock and is now called the NPP Rashadiya cell.

His lifestyles have totally changed and has become so insensitive to the plight of the people. Thuggery and bullying is his tactics and also opulence of the highest order is his hallmark.

Recent assault by his political tugs on the constituency women organizer and a several verbal assault on the incumbent MP by those associated with Nii Lantey in the constituency lend to the credence that if elected he would crack down on decent, using the state security machinery that would be at his service.
My advice to the delegates is that, Nii Lantey should be told in the face to stay away from the politics in the constituency to give peace a chance so as to use his abrasive character to support the Presidency.
Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has not been exhibiting the character of a good statesman as a leader; he must be trustworthy, truthful, honesty and dedicated to the course of the grass roots of the NDC.
Finally I would like to state that, delegates should remember that, the Parliamentary seat is far more important than Nii Lantey’s money which would influence delegates to make the wrong choice and annoy the many who would vote during the general election.
Since when did he made the millions of cedis he is now wasting, when four years ago he could not afford to buy kelewele for two people in the constituency?
