Nkoranza youth commended for non-violent party politicking

Nkoranza (B/A), Sept. 6, GNA - Mr Kwabena Asante, Nkoranza District Electoral Officer, has commended the people, especially the youth for ensuring violence-free partisan politicking in the area. He advised the youth in other districts to emulate their counterparts in Nkoranza to promote unity, peace and understanding in their communities.

Mr Asante was speaking at the delegates' conference of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Nkoranza South Constituency at Nkoranza, during which new executive members were elected. He said he had enjoyed working at Nkoranza as the youth always comported themselves during elections, saying such behaviour of the people was a good trait of true democracy.

"Ghana is respected and admired for the peace and stability she is enjoying and we should not be divided by party politics as that would reverse the clock of development", he added.
