Nduom asks party supporters to marshal forces

Nyankomase (C/R), Sept. 28, GNA – The Convention people’s Party (CPP) constituency executives and supporters have been asked to marshall forces for the party to win Election 2012.

Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, CPP 2008 flagbearer, who gave the advice, said that electoral victory for the party in 2012 would mean a brighter future for Ghana.

He said the party would focus on job creation for the youth, free education for school children and health care for the people.

Dr. Nduom made the call when he cut tape to open CPP constituency office for Assin South at Nyankomase and Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) constituency office at Elmina, in the Central Region.

Dr. Nduom presented a motorbike to Mr. Amoah Mensah, the KEEA constituency Chairman, to facilitate party operations.

He said that the drastic drop in the number of CPP votes in KEEA in 2000 from 19,000 to 4000 in 2008 was "heart-breaking".

He called on party excutives and supporters to work harder to reclaim the KEEA parliamentary seat.

Dr. Nduom was accompanied by the CPP's National Women's Organizer, Mrs. Mary Ankomah Boakye Boateng and Madam Evelyn Lamisi, former National Organizer of the party.

New CPP zonal and poling station chairmen of the KEEA were sworn in by Mr. Kwame Adu-Ansah, Central Regional Chairman of the CPP.
