Nasara NPP – Ashanti, Endorses Nana Akuffo Addo As Flagbearer For 2016.

As the calendar draws near to October 18, to elect for our party a leader and a flagbearer for the 2016 elections, the internal political temperature is heating up and every all the three aspirants adducing reasons why they should be elected to lead us to victory in 2016.
At a time when we are ,almost on a daily basis, greeted by stinking economic scandals, reckless utility tariff’s increment and a staggering load shedding exercise. At an era when graduate unemployment has reached a record high, where entrepreneurs and local manufacturers are being chased out of business due to high ‘’killer taxes’’ At a time when the quality of education has sunk so low and access to healthcare has once again gone back to the difficulties of the ‘’cash and carry ‘’ days.
It is more than clear that the country needs a change in leadership,a leadership that will bring a new paradigm in terms of direction and purpose, vision and commitment to the everyday Ghanaian.
Being the guardians of the NPP tradition in the settler communities, it is our responsibility to listen to call of the grass roots and Ghanaians at large, who do not constitute part of the NPP electoral college and elect an eventual flagbearer that reflects their choices , so as to maximize our chances of winning political power in 2016.
hTe NPP has a large ‘’army’’of Presidential materials , but having carefully scrutinized all the three candidates aspiring t lead us, we have come to a firm conclusion that under the current circumstances of our party and that of our dear nation, Nana Akuffo Addo, out of all the other contestants, best embodies the qualities, experience ,commitment and leadership that our party and country needs at this point.
We believe that, after being in opposition years, 2016 is not time for experimentation. A new flagbearer will require more resources, time and efforts than an already familiar face to sell. We are mindful of the fact that 2016 is just around the corner. Time is not on our side. So, we say no to experimentation !
Again, the popularity of Nana Akuffo Addo having being in frontline politics carved an enviable niche for himself and has is more popular even than President John Mahama. The Nana Addo choruses: ‘’ Shei Nana’’, ‘’ Naa Naana , Naa sho’’, ‘’ Nana amma a , yento aba’’ are not new . They are tune that echo consistently everywhere. They echo loyalty, consistency and commitment to this great tradition. It is these values that we believe, it is these values that we know and it is these values that we are voting for.
It is because of these and more, that we, the membership of Nasara Ashanti , unanimously declare our support for Nana Akuffo Addo.
We, collectively add our voice to the resounding chorus of endorsements coming hundreds of declarations from various wing of the party and from all walks of life in support of Nana Addo towards the October 18 congress.

We also declare for Nana Addo because he has a proven track record of performance, integrit;y and incorruptibility as a Member of Parliament , as Attorney General and Minister of Justice as well as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
We want Nana Addo because he is the choice of the grassroots
We want Nana Addo because he has shown loyalty and commitment to the course of the NPP.
We want Nana Addo because he believes not only in the NPP, but also in Ghana at large
We want Nana Addo because he represents our surest bet to winning political power in 2016.
