NDC poised to win 2008 elections - Vice Chairperson

Bolgatanga, July 20, GNA - The National first Vice Chairperson of the National Democratic congress (NDC) Madam Hilda Bolco has indicated that the NDC lost the last elections because Ghanaians just wanted a change of government and appealed to Ghanaians to re-examine their economic situation and vote the NDC back to power to salvage them from their plight.

She stressed that the party was poised to capture the 2008 elections.

Madam Bolco, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Bolgatanga on Tuesday stated that Ghanaians had suffered so much under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and had learnt their lessons and would therefore not vote the party back to power.

Madam Bolco said as a veteran politician together with other veterans, the party was working assiduously to recapture power to redeem Ghanaians from their economic hardship She entreated party members not to be complacent but to redouble their efforts by influencing more people to join the party to enable it capture power in the impending elections.

Madam Bolco stated that lack of resources was not the problem of the party since majority of the leadership of the party were generating funds in collaboration with donors to fund party activities.
