NDC Chairman pledges to capture all 15 seats in U/E

The Upper East Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Mumuni Bonaba, had assured the delegates of the party that when retained he would work to ensure that the party captures all the parliamentary seats in the Region.

The NDC has 12 seats leaving two to the New Patriotic Party and one to the People National Convention Party.

Alhaji Bonaba said this when he picked forms to contest for the same position in constituency elections scheduled for September 26.

He said he would help build the grassroots structures of the party by ensuring that all the 15 constituencies had each a benefiting party office including the Region.

He stressed the need for the delegates and the supporters of the party to remain united and and said it was only through unity that the party would win the 2016 general elections.

Alhaji Bonaba said he had sacrificed a lot for the party including his personal resources all to the development of the party and appealed to the delegates to renew his mandate to enable him continue with his good work for the part y to retain power.

The Regional Secretary of the Party Mr Donatus Akamugre, said plans were afoot to ensure that the party’s Conflict Resolution Committees including its Council of Elders settle all disputes within the party, particularly both at the constituency and national level before the 2016 general elections .

The Regional Organizer of the party, Mr Baba Kumasi, stated that all was set for the election to take off on the said date and disclosed that all the necessary election materials including security had been arranged.
