President John Mahama President John Mahama

National Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC) Bernard Mornah has described as false President Mahama’s assertion that 70% of work on the Wa Regional Hospital is complete as contained in his last state of the nations address.

Mr. Mornah while addressing students at Wa Polytechnic over the weekend during their Students Representative Council (SRC) week celebration, said some of the facts in the state of the nations address regarding the hospital were wholly untrue.

Speaking to Ultimate News, Bernard Mornah indicated that president Mahama’s advisors did not do due diligence in their reportage to the president on the actual situation on ground.

“The ministers responsible for the sector did not give the president appropriate information and therefore got the wrong information to the people of Ghana. They were lying only for us to get there and see that the situation contradicts what is on paper”, he disclosed.

The Wa Regional Hospital is one of the major campaign tool of the president John Mahama led administration with the promise it is one of the interventions to give residents quality healthcare delivery.

The 160-bed hospital when completed according government, is supposed to augment the number of health facilities in the region.

But Mr. Mornah observed that the pace at which work is progressing is rather slow with the sector ministers allegedly misinforming the president on the true state of affairs.
