The Campaign Manager of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Peter Mac Manu has disclosed that the party’s Flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will only mount Institute of Economic Affairs’ (IEA) debate if the party’s 2016 campaign manifesto is ready.

Mr. Manu allayed public fears that Nana Addo is dodging IEA Debate, hence their countless excuses.

IEA has on two occasions postponed its encounter with the Flagbearer of NPP.

Speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Nkommo hosted by Kwame Adinkrah, he assured that their manifesto will soon be outdoored.

Mr. Manu indicated that the NPP will not allow the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to rig the 2016 elections.

He said the NDC wants to turn their inability to account to the electorates on measures put in place to curb pertaining issues Ghanaians are faced on NPP.

The NDC in his view, wants to blame NPP for its failure to solve hardships Ghanaians are faced with.

The Campaign Manager of NPP said NDC is likely to steal their manifesto when launched just like they did in 2012.

According to him, the party’s manifesto committee are working around the clock to come out with their manifesto.

‘I promise that within this month of August, the manifesto will be out, but I don’t see the reason why we have to allow NDC twist our arms in this year’s election, their manifesto is not out, this election is a referendum on the 8 years rule of the NDC, they are unable to tell us measures put in place to solve corruption, unemployment, high interest rates, National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and they want to turn it on NPP.

Just like they did in four years ago on our free Senior High School (SHS) policy and the election was all about free SHS policy. It’s wrong,’ he explained.
