'Blame Kufuor for the dumsor'-NDC MP

No one can blame the National Democratic congress (NDC) for the current dumsor dumsor all over in the country. if anyone should be blamed, then the previous government should be held responsible for their lack if investment in the energy sector.
The NDC, under President Mahama should rather be praised for it efforts in stabilising the energy crises left unattended to, by the Kufuor-led administration for 8 years.
The country for has had some energy crises for about 4 years now due to power generation crises and unreliable source gas inflow from Nigeria. Government has invested in the building of new sources of energy to balance the shortfall of the current energy generation.
Speaking on the Morning Show of the Rainbow Radio International, Hon Alex Adomako who is also the MP for Sekyere Affram Plains said, government have had to invest huge resources in the sector to stabilise the current energy shortfalls.
Hon Adomako ignored calls by a section of the society for a reduction of petroleum prices.
He said, even though there is a policy for an automatic adjustment of petroleum products but this if this is done now, would affect the stability of the economy.
He explains that, government has had to subsidise the petroleum products over the time and therefore, it is only fair that government balances its account with the windfall in the world market prices of the crude oil.
