The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Kwabre East Constituency in the Ashanti region, Francisca Oteng Mensah has disclosed that it would be impossible for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to garner one million votes in the region.

She puffed, “Where are they going to get the 1 million votes? Are they going to steal it or chant for it?”

The young politician further expressed confidence that the NPP votes in the region will increase in this year’s polls as the party was able to record over 8,345 during the limited registration.

Miss Oteng Mensah also related that the constituency lacked some amenities which needed to be taken care of.

She said, “We have poor roads in our district and people are really suffering and I don’t see that the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Idisa Adams can win over me because since 1996, the NPP has maintained the seat and will continue.”

The NPP parliamentary candidate then urged the Kwabre East Constituency to vote massively for the NPP in order to improve the constituency.
