Zenith Bank organises health walk

Accra, April 19, GNA - Dr George Sipa Yankey, Minister for Health has called on Ghanaians to ensure balanced diet to prolong their life span. He noted that most Ghanaians were suffering from diabetes and hypertension and could be prevented when they were conscious of their diet. Dr Yankey made the call in a speech read on his behalf at the end of a health walk organised by management of Zenith Bank Ghana Limited, in Accra on Saturday.

The walk which climaxed the bank's maiden Service Fair, was under the theme "A Sound Mind in a Healthy Body". It began from Aviation Social Centre, through Christ the King Parish Church, Jubilee House, Silver Stars Tower and back to the Centre. About 500 people participated in the two-hour exercise. Dr Yankey commended the management for their initiative and urged them to undertake it regularly. Mr Andy Ojei, Managing Director of Zenith Bank said management had instituted measures to attain service satisfaction and continue to play a major role in the transformation of the banking industry with electronic business banking. He called for active participation in sports to enhance good health.
