Senya-Beraku Health Centre to get 30-bed ward

The government is constructing a new 30-bed capacity block for the Senya-Beraku Community Health Centre.

The 194,000 Ghana-cedi-project forms part of the government’s plan to facelift the Senya-Beraku Community Health facility.

Mr. Sampson Abbey Armah, District Chief Executive for the area, announced this at a media briefing at Awutu-Beraku, on Tuesday.

He said the facility would have male, female, and children’s wards, with each ward getting 10 beds.

He said health facilities were important for the overall development of countries, therefore, the government would not relent in its efforts to meet the health needs of the people.

He said the improved facility would provide the people of Senya and its surrounding communities with quality healthcare delivery.

It would also go a long way to promote the aims and objectives of the National Health Insurance policy.

Mr Armah expressed optimism that the contractors working on the project would work hard to finish the facility on time.
