Pramkese calls for rehabilitation of health centre

Pramkese (E/R), Jan. 15, GNA - The people of Akyem Pramkese in the Kwaebibirem District have appealed to the government to renovate and equip the Pramkese Health Centre.

Making the appeal at a durbar, the two assembly members of the town Miss Matilda Birikorang and Mr James Tabi, said the health centre was in such a deplorable state that it was becoming unattractive for patients to attend.

The two assembly members have therefore appealed to the people to contribute to help improve conditions at the health centre. They also appealed for a bridge over River Pram to enable farmers to convey their foodstuffs to buying centres.

Miss Birikorang, who represents the Ahenbronom area, said sanitation would be her priority and appealed to the people to join the crusade to ensure that the town was kept clean.

On education, Miss Birikorang expressed regret that because of the low level of education of the youth it was difficult for them to get placement in the Youth Employment Programme.
