Negative emotions cause of spinal discomfort - Experts warn

A resident Chiropractor at the Tamale Spinal Clinic, Dr. Charles Agbetsoamedo has revealed that negative emotions of people are partly to blame for spinal discomfort.

“Regular anger, sadness, anxiety and other related issues can lead to spinal discomfort”, he revealed.

According to him, spinal problems can as well be attributed to stress with some of the major causes as being wrong sitting posture, lying posture and during delivery.

He said there are five components of health that must be practiced by every individual to live healthy and happy.

Dr. Charles Agbetsoamedo disclosed that mental attitude, good nutrition, enough rest, regular exercise of the body and ensuring that your nervous system functions well are very essential to human survival.

The Chiropractor also revealed that smoking, excessive alcohol, excess intake of sugar and too much drugs/pain killers can also cause the discomfort of the spinal cord.

“The public must make it a point to check their systems and practice the five components of health”, he advised.

Dr. Agbetsoamedo advised pregnant women in particular to take good care of themselves to prevent unborn children from related conditions.
