Yes, even though most people know him as an unassuming man, who would smile at anybody that comes into contact with him, very few know that such smiles of Mr. Lewis Max Selby have deeper connotation to human life. He has so much at his disposal to offer humanity as far as one’s health is concerned.

Born at Anomabo in the Central Region in 1952, Mr. Selby attended Cobah Yalley Middle School at Effia-Kuma, in the Western Region and then to the St. John’s School, Sekondi and Sunyani Secondary School for his Ordinary and Advanced Levels respectively. From there, he proceeded to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi for his first degree in Computer Science and later to the University of Leeds in the UK for the Masters degree in Computer Information Systems.

The Acting Director, Management Information System at the Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) is also a chief of Fomena near Anomabo in the Central Region since September 2005 and can be described as a very wonderful man. Even though he is not a medical doctor nor traditional healer, Nana Anobil V has cured or relieved a lot of personalities of their ailments or diseases to their utmost surprised since they only knew him as an ordinary Civil Servant, and for that matter, a Computer Specialist (wizard) working at the GHA. He heals his patients without applying any form of treatment nor touching the patients and this is what a lot of his patients cannot comprehend. Is he using magic or witchcraft, some murmur.

What is worthy of note is that Nana Anobil V uses Chios healing, which is a form of bio-energy therapy. It is used to correct disturbances in the human energy field that surrounds it. Another student of the Valley View University who was hospitalized after a knee injury for weeks and finally, discharge with a stiff and painful knee had been taken through Chios and he can now run on a strong knee. It is for this reason that his new project is to help kidney patients recover completely without a transplant. Nana is therefore challenging 10 patients to come and register with him at no fee for this project and see how God can uses ordinary mortals to bring smiles in them after thinking that all hopes are lost. One of Nana Anobil’s passions is to mould the young people for a brighter future project as he believes that knowledge becomes richer when it is shared. In this regard, he is calling on the youth to register with him to learn to overcome habits that will impede their future progress in life. Nana, who has a magic touch, started his working career in Accra with Construction Pioneers in as a Surveyor from 1986 to 1988. He then joined the GHA from 1988 to date, beginning as a Principal Technician Engineer, then Assistant Chief Technical Engineer to Principal Systems Analyst and now the Acting Director of MIS, all at the GHA Head Office.

His skills in IT include Website design and development using HTML and Dreamweaver MX, Advanced user in MSWord, MS Excel, Power point and MS Access, MS Access (excellent in Access database management development) VBA programming, SQL Server , Can use Rational Rose Tools to design computer systems (UML), Java programming, Visual Basic programming, extensive use of Windows 2008 advance server and Ms Exchange , can terminate cables and configure networks LANS, VLANS and wireless LANS, and excellent in computer and network troubleshooting. Currently, he teaches MIS & Business information Systems at the Institute Of Chartered Accountants, Ghana; a part-time Lecturer at the Institute of Computer Science of the Valley View University.

As the Acting Director of MIS, Nana investigates, analyzes and evaluates the Authority’s computer systems and specifies appropriate computer or manual systems. His general duties are as follows: Establishing objectives, scope, as well as technical steps for designing and implementing new or revised computerised information systems; Recommending the purchase, installation and maintenance of appropriate software programmes to meet the needs of the Authority; writing appropriate software programmes to meet both corporate and departmental needs; Advising on the optimum utilization of computer facilities at both corporate and departmental levels.

He also recommends systems and strategies for achieving co-ordination and integration of information policies; Studies the operations of the Authority and assists in formulating appropriate information policies; generates various reports for management information; ensures maximum security of data, programmes and other facilities; designs documents, reports and forms; and analyses system problems and develops problem solutions. He has attended the following International Seminars and Courses: Management of Technology –Kenshu Centre, Tokyo, Japan and CCNA/CCNP certification- Firebrand Computer Training Camp, UK. What Does the Word "Chios" Mean, How Is It Pronounced and Why Was It Chosen as the Name of This Healing Art?

The word "Chios" (pronounced Chee? ohss) is from the language of the ancient civilization of Bactria. The closest English translation to this word is "life force," although there is a fuller, richer meaning: Chios is the life-welling in all living things, as they strive upwards towards growth and towards the light and enlightenment. This meaning also includes the struggle of spiritual growth, and of the spiritual process. Steve Barrett (the creator of Chios) had a past life in this civilization, during which he studied and used many of the healing techniques Chios now includes. The word "Chios" was chosen, for its beauty and relevance, as the name of this healing art.

Chios healing is taught by approved Certified Chios Master Teachers, who give authentic Chios attunements which preserve the exact techniques.
