Adwenpa Herbal Clinic launches new products

Dr Yaw Opoku, Executive Director of Adwenpa Herbal Clinic, has called on the government to offer the necessary support to traditional herbal medicine practitioners to enable them to export their products.

He said this would not only earn foreign exchange for Ghana but would also sell Ghana to the outside world.

Dr Opoku made the call when the clinic launched new medical products at Akweteyman in Accra on Monday.

The products are Adwenpa Manamix, Adwenpa Malamix, Adwenpa Panaherb and Adwenpa Herbamix.

He said the products, which can be used to treat diseases such as malaria, typhoid and waist pains, had a very long life span.

Dr Opoku said the clinic, which was started in the year 2000, has offered treatment for more than 5,000 patients in diabetes, infertility, malaria, skin rashes, HIV infections and stroke.

He said the clinic also offers treatment in diseases such as fracture, cholera, retention of urine, boil and headache among others.

The Executive Director advised Ghanaians to patronise herbal medicinal products, which according to him, had proven to be effective.

He called for the collaboration of orthodox and traditional herbal medicine practitioners to ensure national development.
