Three out of the 17 suspects arrested in connection with the recent violence in Yendi Township have been remanded in police custody.
They were on Thursday arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Tamale while another suspect was arrested the same day.
They were charged for offenses such as attempted murder, use of offensive weapons, causing damage to property and possessing firearms without authority.
Northern Regional Police Crime Officer, Superintendent Alhaji Mahama Arhin told Citi News they will reappear in Court on April 18.
