Amankwaa, who pleaded not guilty was granted GH=A21,000 (10 million cedis) bail to re-appear on August 30.

Prosecuting, Police Inspector Lucky Goglomi told the court presided over by Mr Kwaku Aboagye that on July 1 this year, the accused who pretended to be an employee of the ECG hired a vehicle to Sefwi-Jedi near Bibiani and parked two electricity poles meant to replace some old ones in the town.

He said on their way back some workers of the ECG who were returning from Sefwi-Atamu intercepted the vehicle with the poles at Sefwi-Dominabo and questioned the driver who said he was hired by Amankwaa to convey them to Sefwi-Awaso.
