Police investigates alleged kidnapping of pupil

Suhum March 23, GNA - The Suhum Police are investigating the alleged attempted kidnapping of two pupils of the Suhum Local Authority Primary School from their home, near the Suhum Market Square, at the weekend. A Police source told the GNA that Adu Mantey, seven years and his sister, Grace Adu, five years, were playing at home, at about 1930 hours, Suddenly, the source said, two men emerged from a hide-out with a rope and tied it around the neck of Mantey and started dragging him to a nearby waiting vehicle. His sister, however, sister raised the alarm and the people took to their heels.
