Nsuta (Ash), July 25, GNA- Four alleged armed robbers, who

terrorised residents of Ejura and its environs were on Friday remanded in prison custody by the Nsuta Circuit Court. Razak Achilu, 22, Alim Yaao, 18, Mohammed Ussif, 27 and Monzil Alhassan, 19, whose pleas were not taken would re-appear on August 12. The police asked the court to be given time to continue with their investigations. The four were identified by their victims during an identification parade organised at the Asante Mampong Divisional Police Headquarters. Assistant Superintendent of Police Ali Aning told the Ghana News Agency that their arrest resulted from police intelligence. He said the suspects were part of an armed robbery gang, which shot and wounded three of their victims during a raid at Ejura. 25 July 09
