Mrs Madugu accommodated him in her house for five days but his behaviour made Mrs Madugu suspicious and she reported him to the police. Mrs Madugu later told the GNA that Boafo arrived at her home at Ajumako wearing a doctors' coat with a stethoscope hanging around his neck and carrying a bag containing drugs including EFPAC and a thermometer.

She said when Boafo wrote out a prescription for her, the pharmacy shop she took it to could not make it out. She also lost some money and items from her house when Boafo was there.
