Some of the hideouts the police raided included, Tishigu, Aboabo Forest, Kuli-Kuli Park, and Tamale High Court forest.

ASP Ebenezer Tetteh, Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer told Joy News that the exercise was "part of an ongoing exercise to try and rid some of the criminal hideouts and “wee” smoking areas in the Tamale metropolis and other areas like Savelugu."
