This goes as far back as the Acheampong days. And guess what, his first major move in public service as Attorney General was to repeal the criminal libel law from which he had fought to save the lives of so many journalists as a human rights lawyer. For a long time, the NDC has been using their rented media to provoke Nana Addo to sue so that they can tarnish this longstanding record a defender of press freedoms.

1. Nana Addo wins and dies (touch wood), Vice President Bawumia inherits the presidency. He is likely to appoint Alan as VP to win over the Kufuor faction and keep the base of the NPP enthusiastic.

2. Now look at another scenario where Mahama dies and Amissah-Arthur takes over. The latter is likely to appoint Doe Adjaho to keep NDC's World Bank happy and enthusiastic.

Now, tell me in all honesty, who you would want managing our economy- the pair of Bawumia/Alan or Amissah-Arthur/Adjaho? Seriously, is there even a competition here. And if Nana is not terminally ill, then we get a decisive leader who can tackle corruption, while a technocratic Vice President Bawumia tackles the economy. To be offered a choice between Nana/Bawumia/Alan and Mahama/Amissah/Adjaho, whatever happens after the elections, and to choose the latter is plain foolishness!

Please read Ballea v Gawker, a recent US case out of Florida where, the plaintiff won a huge judgment against the Gawker publication for publishing pictures of the plaintiff engaged in sexual acts with a woman who was not his wife.
The huge judgment forced Gawker to file for bankruptcy and go out of business.
Do not retreat as you did in the election case where you withdrew your motion gor recussal against an obviously conflicted Atuguba. That tactical mistake cost you guys the case as the defendants already had Atuguba's vote before the parties even made their opening statements. This publisher has been paid to do a hatchet job on Nana and will continue doing so if he knows there would be no repercussions. Mark my words. His next expose against Nana will be worse than the medical fabrication he just published.

Therefore I wonder why lawyer Atta Akyea is taken U. turn not to waste their precious time to sue African Watch Magazine about nana Addo having cancer . Let's face the reality and called spade a spade period. If you are sick and yet denied that you are not, then that is your own business.

Mills has long been gone, and yet the confused and desperate NPP keeps bringing up his death without any meaningful reason. But then again, that's to be expected from a desperate NPP that has no agenda or plan for Ghana other spewing of evil deceptions and shamelessly demented serial lies.
