The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Accra Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo, has dispelled rumours that the club’s coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi collapsed.

The PRO explained to Class News’ Desmond Decker on Friday 25 March 2016 that the coach, who has steered the club to the top of the Ghana Premier League, after five games into the season, went for a check-up after experiencing some backache.

He explained that the coach was not admitted to the hospital but had rather consulted a doctor and will soon resume his duties at the club.

“Kenichi is okay, he went to see a doctor for an X-ray scan after some pains. I do not think there was any collapse; it was just about some pains he was experiencing, which is normal,” Mr. Addo explained.

Meanwhile, Mr. Yatsuhashi was not available for the club’s training on Friday morning ahead of their MTN FA Cup match against Wassaman on Saturday 26 March 2016.

The training session for the team was handled by assistant coach Yaw Preko and former Hearts of Oak player Joe Addo at the Ajax Park in Accra.
