I have no issues with Kwarasey - Nassam

Black Stars goalkeepers’ trainer Nassam Yakubu has debunked assertions he has a problem with returnee goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey.

The Portland Timbers player, who has not featured for the senior national team since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, was named in Avram Grant’s 23-man squad to face Mozambique on March 24, 2016.

There had been suggestions in the media that a poor working relationship between Kwarasey and some members of the technical team, including Mr Yakubu, had caused the shot-stopper to take a two-year hiatus from national duty.

However, Mr Yakubu told Class Sports' Desmond Decker that he looks forward to a cordial relationship with the Norwegian-born goalkeeper.
