Duncan should shut up! – Frank Nelson

Accra Hearts of Oak board member, Frank Nwokolo Nelson has advised under fire Kotoko coach, David Duncan to allow his team performance do the talking.

Duncan’s second season at Kotoko has started poorly to the surprise of many after a fine pre-season preparation saw them tipped as favourites to win the league title.

The Porcupine Warriors are yet to record a victory in the 2015/16 Ghana premier league season and this has got fans, management and lovers of football ask why the team is underperforming whilst their sworn rivals, Hearts fly away with 10-points from 4-matches.

Unsurprisingly the ex-Hearts coach has been vocal during this hard-time, refusing to be solely responsible for the woes of the club and this has got Frank jump to offer him a piece of advice based on past experience.

He said, “to be fair sometimes the comments read and heard from Duncan is not too good for the club and the supporters. I would have expected him to in a moderate manner speak to the fans to draw sympathy from them rather than throw a challenge to them.”

Kotoko will hope to register their first win of the season when they host Hasaacas at the Kumasi sports stadium in match week 5.
