I’m determined to be at Rio– Alem Mumuni

With barely few months to the start of the Paralympic Games in Rio, Ghanaian Para-cyclist Alem Mumuni has expressed his determination to be at the games come September.

The three-time para – cyclist champion has been participating in various competitions that could enable him prepare mentally and physically for the games.

The former London 2012 Olympian in an interview with sportscrusader.com said, “am more than the word determined because I started competing for Rio since 2013 but I had lacked finances but only my friends from outside Ghana supported me to compete in the few events and that is leading me to Rio”.

Mumuni is expected to take part in the Para – Cycling World Championship in Italy come the Thursday,17 March 2016.
