Varsity Coll. of Educ. Winneba to host GUSA Games

The 24th edition of the Ghana University Students Association (GUSA) games is scheduled to commence on January 4th 2016, at the University College of Education, Winneba.

The opening ceremony will be on the 6th of January 2016 and will last for a period of 3 weeks.

The games are formally due to begin on the 7th of January, 2016.
At the last edition hosted by the Cape Coast University, the hosts emerged as the overall winners with 32 gold, 31 silver and 8 bronze. University of Ghana came second with 20 gold, 19 silver and 13 bronze.

As part of preparations towards the games, the football team of the University of Ghana, Legon played a friendly against premier league side Liberty professionals about 3 weeks ago. The hosts have revealed their feverish preparation ahead of the games.
