I am still a Kotoko player - Ahmed Toure

Asante Kotoko attacker Amed Toure has rubbished reports that he has gone to Saudi Arabia or Dubai to seal a move.

According to the Burkinabe international who is yet to report to Asante Kotoko camp for the club’s pre-season, he is currently in Paris attending to his 4 year old son who has been hospitalized.

Reports in the local media had suggested that before the 28-year goal poacher left for Paris he was training with Asec Mimosa in Ivory Coast.

“I am very much surprised to hear that I’ve gone to Saudi Arabia or Dubai. I wonder why always people are talking false about me.”

“I left Accra last Saturday for Paris to see my son who has been hospitalized. I am still a Kotoko player and will serve my contract with them. Those pictures you see are my old pictures so the stories are untrue.” Toure told Kumasi-based Metro FM.

Toure is expected to arrive in Ghana on 21st December, 2015 to join his Kumasi-based club for their pre-season.
