Mazembe ready to pay $300,000 for Liberty's Latif

African Champions TP Mazembe have tabled $300,000 for Liberty whizkid Latif Blessing, media reports in Ghana have claimed.

Blessing has emerged strongly on the radar of the Congolese giants after a fabolous debut season with the Ghanaian side.

Official of Mazembe are keen on signing the player who delighted Ghanaian crowd with his sublime skills.

They have reportedly tabled an offer believed to be in the region of $300,000 for the highly-talented Ghanaian youngster.

TP Mazembe West Africa representative Nana Oduro Sarfo has confirmed talks have reached an advance stage for the player to undergo the necessary processes to secure a big-money move to the Congolese side.

“They (Mazembe) expressed interest in another player who plays for Ashgold but Ashgold turned down the offer so I recommended Latif Blessing to them and president (Moise Katumbe) has shown interest in him”, he is quoted by GazzettaGhana.com

“Mazembe are not in DR Congo at the moment so we are waiting for them to return from the World Club championship in Japan and Latif will fly to Congo to begin the processes in January”,

Mazembe owner Moise Katumbi is a huge admirer of Ghanaian players following the impressive performances from quintet - Richard Kissi-Boateng, Solomon Asante, Yaw Frimpong, Daniel Nii Adjei and Gladson Awako.
