Acting is not "just acting." It is a major contribution. The man has been acting for years--that IS his contribution. Don't advertise your ignorance.

You can never fantasize in Twi and come out with anything genuinely romantic.

You can never dream in Twi, and find yourself on an inter terrestrial plane.

You can never dream or speak in Twi and come out with a beautiful mind or story.

It is always about tom foolery, ignorance, primitive humor and abject buffoonery. It is a shame we have embarrassed it and allowed it to consume even the unborn Ghanaian.

Peasants and children of peasants have taken over our culture, pride and sensibilities, and have the power in numbers to bring you down, if and when you sound so right and so pure. They think you are White when you are Right!!!

Nice of you to encourage him but that is David's point. He is not trained to write for film. He has too much integrity to do what he is not qualified to do. His point is that we should create the right circumstances and institutions for those qualified to be able to put their training to good use. Writing scripts without the skill or training to do so does not solve the problem

Very wise. Some of us have always beamed with the passion for script writting from childhood but it is very painful that script writers are not paid well in this country. The payment goes to the actors. Meanwhile, with a good script, you might need just little or no direction. I really don't know how producers understand the essence of script writers. Script writting is very tactical and involves alot of imagination and professional thoughts. I doubt if the Ghanaian producers know how difficult it is to come out with a script. We have good writters but they would rather work for foreign productions than die in poverty as a Ghana based script writter. Our producers need to sit their ass down and pay for workdone. that is how we can get the quality we want.
