Vlisco introduces ‘Prêt-à-Couture’ tailoring service

A leading textile manufacturing company Vlisco Ghana, has launched a tailoring service dubbed Prêt-à-Couture.

This is part of the company's commitment to help customers get the right designer or tailor for a perfect outfit.

Marketing Director at Vlisco Ghana, Stephen Badu speaking at a press gathering to launch the service, said the aim of the tailoring service is to give customers value for money in a fashion facilitation system through Pret-a-Porter, Pret-a-creer and Pret-a-couture.

“People buy fabrics and they have difficulty getting tailors or designers to sew to their taste and get it delivered on time so we thought we should take up the challenge as a business,” he said.

Mr. Badu stressed that their aim is to move closer to their consumers and offer them the professional service they look up for.

“We are fully committed to consumer satisfaction and to give them value for money to remain relevant to them and potential customers”, he noted.

Mr. Badu said the basic steps to the Pret-a-Couture service include among other things “choosing a fabric, having your measurements taken by a specialist brand hostess, choose the trimmings and finish you prefer, return for fitting and receive your custom made garments”.

He said the tailoring service is currently available in all Vlisco shops at the Accra Mall and the West Hills Mall in Kasoa.

Stephen Badu urged customers not to allow the price to deter them from patronizing the service since “Vlisco is giving you the opportunity to look stylish and brighten your day”.
