Uganda release 25 for Ghana clash

Ghana’s AFCON qualifying opponent Uganda has named a 25-man squad ahead of the 2015 AFCON qualifier against the Black Stars.

The squad which was released by head coach Milutin Sredojevic on Wednesday includes South African-based forwardGeofrey Massa who missed out in the first leg played at the Babayara Sports Stadium.

Meanwhile El Merreikh goalkeeper Jamal Salim Magoola and Lweza FC midfielder Mike Sserumaga all earned their first national team call-up.

Goalkeepers: Robert Odongkara (St George), Jamal Salim (El Merriekh), Ismail Watenga (Vipers) and Brian Bwete (URA)

Defenders: Godfrey Walusimbi (Gor Mahia), Julius Ntambi (Kira Young) Martin Kizza (Tusker), Isaac Isinde (St George), Savio Kabugo (SCVU), Habibu Kavuma (KCC), Richard Kasagga (KCCA)

Midfielders: Tonny Mawejje (Haugesund, Norway), Hassan Wasswa (SC Villa), Brian Majwega (KCCA), Kizito Keziron (SC Viper), Farouk Miya (SC Vipers), Moses Oloya ( Xuan Than Sai Gon FC), Mike Sserumaga (Lweza), Baker Lukooya (Kira Young), Allan Kyambadde(Vipers), Geofrey Kizito (Gor Mahia), Khalid Aucho (Tusker)

Strikers: Geofrey Massa (Pretoria University), Yunus Sentamu (AS Vita), Robert Ssentongo (URA), Daniel Sserunkuma (Gor Mahia)

Black Stars head coach Maxwell Konadu is yet to name Ghana’s squad for the crunch game at the Mandala Stadium on November 15.
