Duncan’s return divides Great Olympics

David Duncan’s reported move to Great Olympics is at the verge of collapse as reports continue about the clubs fans protesting against his squad policy.

The 51-year-old was reported to have been close to agreeing a deal to return to the promoted Ghana Premier League side with Duncan confirming to GHANASoccernet.com that he had been monitoring the team’s training sessions since their return to top flight football.

The deal is however on the verge of collapse with staunch supporters of the club vehemently protesting against the appointment of the former Hearts of Oak coach.

“The board are divided with it comes to Duncan. Some want him for the results but I understand that some of his terms are not going down well with some members and the deal could be off,” a Great Olympics insider told GHANASoccernet.com.

“I must admit we were close to the deal but in recent days we have taken some steps backwards.”

Duncan has been club less since leaving Hearts of Oak last November.
